Amid fluctuating egg prices, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation (aT) announced that the first shipment of imported fresh eggs from the U.S. has arrived at Incheon International Airport to stabilize egg prices. Earlier, the Ministry decided to import 2.24 million fresh eggs from the U.S. this month to prepare for potential egg supply disruptions caused by the spread of highly pathogenic avian influenza (AI).
