In a recent report, North Korea highlighted the achievements of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League over the past five years, aiming to bolster young people's loyalty to the party.

The Workers' Party of Korea's official newspaper, <em>Rodong Sinmun</em>, reported on April 19 that since the 10th Congress of the Youth League, more than 240 primary (and sub-primary) youth league committees and over 550 young individuals have been awarded the Kim Il Sung Youth Honor Prize and the Kim Jong Il Youth Honor Prize. Additionally, 25 youths have been recognized as pioneers of Socialist Patriotic Youth, while 70,000 primary organizations nationwide have earned the distinction of being exemplary (2nd and 3rd level) primary units.
