The party's official newspaper, <em>Rodong Sinmun</em>, reported on Monday that Kim, after casting his vote at the mine, delivered a speech. He stated that it is the firm resolve of the party's central committee to transform all mining communities into modern, cultural mining villages and cities, as discussed during the 9th Party Congress. Kim added that it will soon deliberate on short-term and long-term strategies to achieve this goal.

The newspaper published Kim's full speech on its second page. It also reported that by 6:00 p.m. (Korean time) on March 15, when the elections took place, voting had concluded in all electoral districts nationwide, with a reported 99.99% voter turnout. The paper noted that local election committees are currently finalizing the vote tallies for Supreme People's Assembly candidates in their respective districts.

They expressed being deeply moved by the sight of voters jubilantly showcasing the power of North Korea's unity, firmly rallied around their leader and reinforcing the people's sovereignty.

Page 5 reported on the Jungpyeong Greenhouse Farm, noting continued growth in vegetable production and an expansion in crop varieties since operations began. The Pyongyang Rural Construction Command stated that in accordance with the 9th Party Congress decisions, it is making vigorous progress in rural construction preparations across all fronts.

An article on page 6, titled, <em>Requirements of the Education Support Law</em>, explained that the law, comprising 29 articles, aims to establish a robust support system for the education sector. It seeks to foster a social climate that actively supports educational initiatives nationwide and contributes to their development. The article emphasized that particularly during the School Support Months of March and October, there must be a focused effort to support designated educational institutions.
