North Korea urged its citizens to participate in the Supreme People's Assembly elections on March 15, an event comparable to South Korea's National Assembly elections.

The third page of the Workers' Party's official newspaper, Rodong Sinmun, featured an editorial titled, Let's All Actively Participate in the Supreme People's Assembly Elections and Solidify Our Superior People's Sovereignty.

The editorial emphasized that today's election is a political occasion showcasing the spirit of the North Korean people as they embark on a new era of national revitalization through unity. It called on residents to take part in the elections with unwavering conviction and determination to usher in a new, proud chapter of national prosperity.

The fourth page prominently displayed an article headlined, Election Day: A Day of Celebration for Our People. The newspaper cultivated a festive atmosphere, noting the nationwide excitement as citizens prepare to elect their representatives.

On the sixth page, an article titled, Contrasting Images of Two Societies as Seen Through Elections, was published. The newspaper criticized capitalist societies for imposing voting restrictions based on factors such as gender, race, and residency duration, labeling it an anti-people system. In contrast, it lauded the equality and superiority of North Korea's electoral system.

The front page reported on Kim Jong Un, General Secretary of the Workers' Party, visiting the Saebyul Street, a housing complex for war veterans' families, with his daughter Ju-ae to mark the Tree Planting Day (March 14). Kim and Ju-ae were shown actively participating by carrying lumber and moving soil.

The second page covered a long-range artillery training exercise conducted by the People's Army's western district, observed by Kim and Ju-ae the previous day. The newspaper reported that the drill involved 12 units of 600mm precision multiple rocket launchers and two artillery companies. During the event, Kim issued a threat toward South Korea, stating that they would instill fear in enemies within a 420-kilometer (about 261 miles) range.

The fifth page highlighted that since the announcement of a new five-year economic plan at the party's 9th Congress last month, various agencies and enterprises have intensified their efforts to meet their targets.
