It urged the completion of the five-year plan by the end of this year and called for a successful upcoming 9th Party Congress.

On page 5, the newspaper reported that to accelerate the five-year plan, scientists and technicians across the country must boldly engage in patriotic intellectual efforts and research. The article highlighted that scientific advancement directly correlates with economic development and improved living standards, emphasizing the crucial role of officials from the National Science and Technology Committee.

Page 3 featured an article titled "Learning is the Primary Process for Enhancing Party Loyalty, Revolutionary Spirit, and People-Centered Approach," asserting that learning is the foremost task for officials to embody the party's ideology and spirit as communist revolutionaries. It urged officials to study and internalize the party's policies thoroughly.

Page 2 mentioned the upcoming Victory Day (the anniversary of the signing of the armistice agreement) on July 27th and highlighted the so-called "Kim Il Sung Peak," also known as Hill 1211.
