K-pop sensation TWS has soared to the second spot on Japan's prestigious Oricon Daily Singles Chart with their latest release.

Pledis Entertainment, the group's management company, announced that their single TO US sold an impressive 28,176 copies on its Tuesday debut in Japan, securing the runner-up position on the highly competitive Oricon Daily Singles Chart.

The title track, "Call My Name," has also made waves in Japan's music scene. It burst onto Line Music's real-time Song Top 100 chart immediately after release and climbed to No. 14 on the daily chart by Tuesday. The music video for the song also claimed the 7th spot on Line Music's "Music Video Top 100" on the same day.

TO US showcases three dynamic tracks: "We Up," an anthem of ambition for greater heights; "Call My Name," a heartfelt response to believers; and "Heavy," a comforting ballad for the weary. The album features a collaboration with renowned jazz pianist Yoon Seok-chul, who lent his talents to "Call My Name." TWS members Youngjae, Shin Yu, and Dohun also flexed their creative muscles by contributing to the songwriting process.

The international music community has taken notice of TWS's artistic growth. Billboard, the leading U.S. music publication, praised the single for its nuanced portrayal of youth, capturing both its radiant moments and its struggles. Philippine media giant ABS-CBN highlighted TWS's unique perspective on youth in their musical narratives.

The Bias List, a respected American music review site, lauded "Call My Name" for its piano melodies that amplify the song's energy and showcase the members' vocal prowess. They also commended "We Up" for its pulsating Miami bass-inspired groove and seamless blend of rap and vocals.

On the home front, TWS's new release is making significant strides. It topped the Hanteo Chart's daily album rankings with a staggering 634,871 copies sold on release day. "Call My Name" has also climbed to an impressive No. 14 on Melon's Top 100, a key indicator of domestic popularity.

Fans can catch TWS performing their new hits on South Korea's top music shows, starting with KBS 2TV's "Music Bank" on November 6, followed by MBC's "Show! Music Core" on November 7, and SBS's "Inkigayo" on November 8.
