The upcoming film Heart of the Beast has locked in its release date and unveiled gripping stills showcasing Brad Pitt's intense survival struggle alongside a military dog in the Alaskan wilderness.

Slated for an October 28 theatrical release, Heart of the Beast, helmed by David Ayer, chronicles the harrowing journey of James (Brad Pitt), a former Army Special Forces operative, and his retired military canine companion, Odin. Stranded in the unforgiving Alaskan wilderness after a plane crash, the duo must rely solely on each other to overcome constant life-threatening challenges. The film has already garnered critical acclaim, boasting a 92% score on Rotten Tomatoes as of September 23.

The newly released survival stills offer a glimpse into the dire circumstances faced by James and Odin following their crash landing in Alaska's treacherous terrain. Drawing on his Special Forces training, James is seen poring over a map, strategizing an escape route in a desperate bid for survival.

Just as James and Odin find a glimmer of hope in the vast wilderness, they're confronted with yet another perilous threat. One still captures James with his weapon at the ready, bracing for a potential wild animal attack - a stark reminder of the relentless danger that surrounds them.

Another powerful image shows James extending his hand to Odin as they navigate a precarious wooden bridge over turbulent waters, highlighting the unbreakable bond between the two comrades. Additional stills depict James mired in a swamp, their clothes tattered and bodies gaunt, leaving viewers on edge about their chances of survival.

Heart of the Beast marks the eagerly anticipated reunion of Brad Pitt and director David Ayer, following their successful collaboration on 2014's Fury, which drew 1.36 million viewers in South Korea. This latest venture comes on the heels of Pitt's box office hit F1: The Movie, which attracted an impressive 5.26 million viewers in South Korea last year. With its potent combination of Pitt's gritty survival performance, the awe-inspiring Alaskan landscape, and the touching camaraderie between James and Odin, this extreme survival tale is poised to captivate audiences worldwide.
