Boy group BOYNEXTDOOR is pushing boundaries with their new track "ANIMAL," showcasing a broader musical range. Industry insiders are watching closely to see if this release will mark another career milestone for the rising K-pop act.

Set to drop their first studio album repackage, HOME: DELUXE, on Monday at 6:00 p.m. (KST), BOYNEXTDOOR is building on the success of their previous release, HOME. This expanded edition symbolizes the group's ambition to explore new musical territories, with all six members demonstrating significant artistic growth through diverse genre exploration.

The album boasts an eclectic mix of sounds, featuring the title track "ANIMAL," alongside the disco-infused "CLICHE," high-energy dance tracks "Count To Love" and "Boom Boom Boom," and the emotive pop ballad "400 Years." This varied tracklist underscores BOYNEXTDOOR's commitment to pushing their musical boundaries.

"ANIMAL," co-created by members Myung Jae-hyun, Tae-san, and Unhak, stands out as a bold departure for the group. Venturing into electro-punk territory, the song's teaser has already set social media abuzz with its infectious hook, "Move Like Animal," and pulsating beat. Despite the brief preview, fans are anticipating an electrifying performance that will showcase the group's dynamic stage presence.

The choice to comeback with "ANIMAL" is particularly noteworthy as it plays to BOYNEXTDOOR's strengths. While the electro-punk genre is new for them, the track's expected high-energy performance aligns perfectly with their reputation as a performance-driven group. K-pop enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting to see how BOYNEXTDOOR will bring "ANIMAL" to life on stage.

In the lead-up to their comeback, BOYNEXTDOOR has been engaging fans with innovative promotional content. On September 12, they released a special report for the new album - a mock documentary that offers a humorous peek into the album's concept. The video features the members playfully claiming to be animals, with guest star Yoon Kyung-ho appearing as a modern human-animal studies expert. This witty approach has not only entertained fans but also drummed up excitement for "ANIMAL."

With this release, industry watchers are speculating whether BOYNEXTDOOR will set new personal records. Their previous album, HOME, made waves by debuting at No. 16 on the Billboard 200 - the group's highest chart position to date. It also topped both Billboard Japan and Oricon weekly charts. Moreover, with first-week sales exceeding 1.08 million copies, they achieved the impressive feat of four consecutive million-selling albums.

BOYNEXTDOOR has consistently shown growth with each release, demonstrating their commitment to authentic musical expression. As they prepare to unveil HOME: DELUXE, all eyes are on whether they'll continue their streak of breaking their own records.
