GC Cell, GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, and GC Genome to Jointly Participate in the Spring Symposium of the Korean Society of Laboratory Medicine / Provided by GC

GC Cell announced on Monday that it participated in a joint booth at the 2023 Spring Symposium of the Korean Society for Laboratory Medicine, alongside GC Green Cross Medical Foundation and GC Genome.

The event was held from April 23 to 24 at the Swiss Grand Hotel in Seoul, under the theme Laboratory Intelligence: Data Meets Diagnostics.

The three companies showcased their integrated service capabilities at their joint booth, covering diagnostic testing, genomic analysis, and bio-logistics.

Academic presentations were also conducted. Dr. An Sun-hyun, Deputy Director of the Diagnostic Testing Center at GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, presented on Advancements in Biomarkers and Diagnostic Technologies for Alzheimer's Disease.

Dr. Cho Sung-eun, Director of the Endocrine Substance Analysis Center (ESAC), delivered a presentation on The Introduction and Future of Automated Mass Spectrometry Systems.

At the booth, GC Cell highlighted its bio-logistics services, emphasizing its large-scale processing capacity capable of transporting over 160,000 specimens annually, supported by a robust cold chain system.

GC Green Cross Medical Foundation showcased Labinno Track, Asia's largest fully automated laboratory system.

This system, a world first, vertically connects specimen storage with a ground track, boasting the highest global specimen processing capacity on both hourly and daily bases. It's garnering attention as a prime example of smart laboratory infrastructure.

GC Genome introduced iCanSearch 10 Plus, a liquid biopsy-based multi-cancer early screening service that can predict the risk of over 10 types of cancer from a single blood draw.

Kim Jae-wang, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of GC Cell, stated that this joint participation effectively demonstrated the integrated service capabilities in diagnostic testing, genomic analysis, and bio-logistics to the medical community. It will continue to deliver unique value in precision medicine through synergies among the group companies.

Lee Sang-gon, CEO of GC Green Cross Medical Foundation, remarked that this conference affirmed the group's integrated competitiveness, including the data-driven testing environments and automated cold chain systems. Going forward, it will strive to enhance testing quality and accuracy through collaboration within the group.
