Kim attended the Korea AI Ecosystem Reception hosted by NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang at Seoul's Shilla Hotel on June 8. He unexpectedly served as an interpreter during a conversation between Science and ICT Minister Lee Kwan-sup and CEO Huang.

The interpretation wasn't planned; it happened on the spot, Kim recalled. It wasn't a heavy policy negotiation, but rather an exchange of congratulatory messages.
