Pulmuone made a splash at the 2026 Natural Products Expo West, held from March 4 to 6 in Anaheim, California. The company showcased a delightful mix of traditional K-foods like tofu and kimchi, alongside innovative products such as their game-changing soy milk noodles.

Since 2003, Pulmuone has been a regular at this expo, dazzling local buyers and consumers with their plant-based convenience foods. Think tofu, plant-based meat alternatives, veggie dumplings, and mouthwatering fried rice. This year, they went all out with a booth that put the spotlight on K-foods, celebrating the rich traditions of tofu and kimchi.

Adding star power to the event, celebrity chef Edward Lee graced Pulmuone's booth, drawing crowds of curious foodies. Lee, a champion of Korean cuisine in the U.S., has been cooking up a storm with Pulmuone for years.

The culinary expert presented two recipes at the event — Kimchi Bibim Soy Noodles and Kimchi Tofu Shakshuka — offering visitors a creative take on Korean-inspired plant-based cuisine. He also hosted a signing session at the Pulmuone booth, drawing strong interest from attendees.

Pulmuone used the exhibition to highlight its product portfolio while previewing several new items scheduled for release later this year. Among the featured products was Soy Milk Noodles, which attracted particular attention for being gluten-free and low in calories while providing high levels of fiber and calcium. The product also emphasizes convenience, requiring no rinsing or boiling.

The company also introduced a new Yakisoba product, expanding its Asian noodle range. According to Pulmuone, the category has shown strong sales growth in the United States. In addition, the company unveiled its Garlic & Herb Wrap, designed to support plant-based meal preparation.

These products are expected to launch in major supermarket chains and wholesale club channels in the second half of the year. Pulmuone said the expo served as an opportunity to strengthen its presence in the U.S. market and explore new business opportunities.

The booth also showcased items from Plantspired, Pulmuone USA’s plant-based food brand, including vegetable dumplings and tofu products.

The goal is to introduce healthy and sustainable Korean food to global consumers, said Kim Seok-won, head of marketing at Pulmuone U.S. By combining fresh ingredients with Korean culinary traditions, it aims to develop innovative products for the international market.
