LG Electronics will once again highlight its expertise in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) technology at this year's event.

Following its debut at Data Center World 2025, LG Electronics returns for a second consecutive year, underscoring its commitment to the industry.

The company plans to expand its thermal management solutions portfolio by unveiling various products, including its advanced liquid cooling solution (CDU).

The CDU employs direct chip cooling within data centers, leveraging core component technology to achieve unparalleled stability and efficiency.

Innovative virtual sensor technology in the CDU ensures reliable cooling system operation by compensating for faulty sensor readings using data from pumps and other sensors. The system's high-efficiency inverter technology optimizes energy use by precisely controlling coolant flow based on demand.

Last year, LG Electronics launched its Eco Solutions (ES) Company, broadening its scope from residential air conditioners to commercial systems and artificial intelligence (AI) powered data center cooling solutions.

The ES division reported impressive sales of 9.323 trillion KRW (about 6.45 billion USD), marking a 5.7% year-over-year increase and bolstering the company's overall performance.

LG Electronics is currently focused on cementing its HVAC technology leadership in the U.S. market. The company's high-efficiency heat pumps and chillers have earned the prestigious Performance Award from the Air-Conditioning, Heating, and Refrigeration Institute (AHRI) for nine consecutive years, a testament to their superior quality and technological prowess.

The company develops and manufactures critical components in-house, including compressors and motors. LG Electronics continues to invest heavily in research and development (R&D) to drive innovation in core HVAC technologies such as heat exchangers, inverters, and heat pumps.

LS Electric Unveils Comprehensive Power and Automation Solutions Tailored for Data Centers

LS Electric is also returning to Data Center World for the second year running, with plans to establish a significant exhibition presence.

Building on its successful debut last year, LS Electric will showcase an expanded 581-square-foot (about 54 square meters) exhibition area, featuring a comprehensive range of customized power and automation solutions designed specifically for data centers.

This year's focus will be on Underwriters Laboratories (UL) certified, high-end power equipment tailored for U.S. data centers, including advanced switchboards and related solutions. The company will also display essential components such as circuit breakers and disconnect switches.

LS Electric's power solutions lineup includes cutting-edge superconducting fault current limiters (SFCL), the first UL-certified distribution system in Korea, state-of-the-art power distribution units (PDU), and remote power panels (RPP).

On the automation front, the company offers high-performance inverters crucial for data center cooling systems, such as the advanced H100 high-efficiency inverter and the compact SP100 inverter.

LS Electric aims to capitalize on the burgeoning U.S. power distribution market by forging strategic partnerships with local power companies and intensifying its brand localization efforts.

The company recently invested an additional 20 billion KRW (about 13.8 million USD) to expand its high-voltage distribution panel factory in Inokshi, Utah. This expansion will triple the annual production capacity from 50 billion KRW (about 34.5 million USD) to 150 billion KRW (about 103.8 million USD) and increase the factory footprint from approximately 14,200 square meters to 73,000 square meters (about 142,847 to 785,765 square feet). Construction is slated to begin in the first half of this year.

LS Electric's U.S. factory expansion is a strategic move to meet the surging demand for high-voltage distribution panels. Last year, the company secured global data center-related orders exceeding 1 trillion KRW (about 691 million USD), including contracts for power infrastructure serving major North American tech companies and distribution systems integrated with microgrid technology.

An LS Electric spokesperson noted that the North American power market is currently experiencing a super high-voltage boom driven by the replacement of aging transmission infrastructure. It anticipates an even more significant distribution boom to follow, with projections indicating that the North American distribution market will grow to six times the size of the super high-voltage transformer market.
